QUESTION;
While reading the ideclasses.dfc file I noticed most lines have 3 fields and some have 4. Is this normal?
ANSWER:
Yes, it is quite normal and supported. If you leave a field blank, then a default value will be applied to it.
These columns basically represent the fields in the Studio's "Configure Class Lists" dialog. If you edit one of the entries, you will see what gets written in which position. However, I recommend instead that you use this dialog to edit the file instead of a text editor. The "Workspace" tab page will edit the local workspace "IdeDialogs" and the Global page edits the global file.
