PROBLEM:
For Crystal reports based on Crystal ODBC driver the Crystal Report Wizard in Visual DataFlex 9.0 seems to work fine until the dialog for field selections. This dialog and the next dialog (on Sort order) are blank; no fields are displayed.

The Wizard finishes and the report runs from the generated report view.

What could be causing the problem?

SOLUTION:
In Visual DataFlex 9.0 and 9.1, the wizard will not get the fields from the report if the report is not based on DataFlex files.

In Visual DataFlex 10.0, the wizard tries to match the root name of the files in the filelist (excluding possible prefix and postfix) with the name of the table in Crystal (this could be the alias name). If a match is found, the fields will be displayed in both the selection and sort dialogs.
