PROBLEM:
When trying to print to a printer with a long printername, VDF crashes without any warning.

SOLUTION:
If you shorten the printername everything works just fine.

Using WinPrint II (VDF10.0 and higher) will solve the problem too. Tested by DAE on Windows XP.
