If, for some reason (e.g. it failed to finish installing completely and the uninstall.log is not present), you cannot uninstall the DataFlex License from the Windows Control Panel, you can use these manual steps to uninstall the license.

Workaround:
1. Navigate to the \DataFlex\uninstall folder (e.g. 'C:\DataFlex 19.0\Uninstall DataFlex 19.0.33.6')
2. Create a shortcut of unwise.exe.
3. Edit the shortcut and add " .\install.log" to the end of the existing shortcut target.
4. Execute the shortcut.

If that fails, you can manually remove files, folders and Registry entries like this:

1. Delete all the DataFlex folders and subfolders
   64 bit Windows:
      C:\Program Files(x86)\DataFlex {revision}
   32 bit Windows:
      C:\Program Files\DataFlex {revision}

- unless you installed to another hard disk location.

You can determine where DataFlex is installed from the Registry:
   64 bit Windows:
      HKey_Local_Machine\Software\WowNode6432\Data Access Worldwide\DataFlex\{revision}\Defaults: VDFRootDir Registry value
   32 bit Windows:
      HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Data Access Worldwide\DataFlex\{revision}\Defaults: VDFRootDir Registry value

2. Delete the Registry entries under:
   64 bit Windows:
      HKey_Local_Machine\Software\WowNode6432\Data Access Worldwide\DataFlex\{revision}
      HKey_Current_User\Software\Data Access Worldwide\DataFlex\{revision}
   32 bit Windows:
      HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Data Access Worldwide\DataFlex\{revision}
      HKey_Current_User\Software\Data Access Worldwide\DataFlex\{revision}

For version of DataFlex prior to 18.0:

1. Delete all the DataFlex folders and subfolders
   64 bit Windows:
      C:\Program Files(x86)\Visual DataFlex {revision}
   32 bit Windows:
      C:\Program Files\Visual DataFlex {revision}

- unless you installed to another hard disk location.

You can determine where DataFlex is installed from the Registry:
   64 bit Windows:
      HKey_Local_Machine\Software\WowNode6432\Data Access Worldwide\Visual DataFlex\{revision}\Defaults: VDFRootDir Registry value
   32 bit Windows:
      HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Data Access Worldwide\Visual DataFlex\{revision}\Defaults: VDFRootDir Registry value

2. Delete the Registry entries under:
   64 bit Windows:
      HKey_Local_Machine\Software\WowNode6432\Data Access Worldwide\Visual DataFlex\{revision}
      HKey_Current_User\Software\Data Access Worldwide\Visual DataFlex\{revision}
   32 bit Windows:
      HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Data Access Worldwide\Visual DataFlex\{revision}
      HKey_Current_User\Software\Data Access Worldwide\Visual DataFlex\{revision}

where {revision} is the version of DataFlex you wish to uninstall, e.g. "19.0".
