In August 2004, a research project was initiated at Data Access Worldwide (Miami) to investigate the feasibility of hosting DataFlex embedded databases on a Linux Server with Visual DataFlex and character mode DataFlex 3.2 applications. Developers considering the use of Linux servers with SAMBA are encouraged to review the results of our testing.
