QUESTION;
I used the Visual DataFlex Client Installer and after that there is no evaluation termlist installed. What can cause this?
ANSWER:
The default for the client installation is to install the eval termlist. There are only three ways when the file is not installed:
1. A VDFClient.Cfg file is used that has the setting EVAL= N
2. There is an existing termlist.cfg in the Bin folder (before the client installation starts) - the installation will never overwrite an existing termlist
3. The developers installation program overwrites the eval termlist with one of his own
The same is valid for any other file that is installed as part of the VDF (Client) Install routine.
