PROBLEM:
When we tried to update or delete a record in a MS Access table using ODBC Connectivity Kit, an application error was generated.
SOLUTION:
This was a bug in ODBC Connectivty Kit 4.1.0.17 -- the error occurred when locking in an environment that uses the dummy_update strategy -- and it is fixed in build 4.1.0.18.
