PROBLEM:
Some Windows hotkeys (i.e. Windows+E to start Windows Explorer) do not execute while the Visual DataFlex Debugger is stopped at a breakpoint. Also, once this hotkey is pressed, other operating system functions, such as bringing up a hidden taskbar or the Start menu, may not work, until the debugger is stopped or the program being debugged is no longer stopped in the debugger.
SOLUTION:
This is an operating system issue, probably related to threading. The same thing happens in Microsoft Visual Studio .Net.
You can work around this by bringing up Windows Explorer using the Start menu.
Tested on Windows XP Pro SP 2 with VDF 11.1, VDF 12.0 and Visual Studio 2003 & 2005.
