PROBLEM:
The compiler does not launch from inside the Studio. When I try to compile, some type of message just flashes on the screen and then I am returned to the Studio. I can compile my program by launching the compiler separately.

SOLUTION:
Most likely, somewhere along the paths that the Studio uses to call the compiler, a termlist.cfg is found from another version of Visual DataFlex or DataFlex that interferes with the Studio's calling the compiler. Check for extra copies of termlist.cfg in your VDF installation or workspaces. There should only be one copy of this file, located in the \bin subfolder where VDF is installed.
