PROBLEM:
ERROR 4356 Unable to load DLL. CRPE32.DLL

This error can occur when trying to run a Crystal Reports report from Visual DataFlex or when running the Crystal Reports Integration Wizard from the Studio.

SOLUTION:
On a deployment PC, be sure you deploy the correct files to run Crystal Reports. You can find out which files to deploy in the Visual DataFlex documentation under Deploying Applications > Deployment Reference > Deploying Applications with Crystal Reports Components

On a development PC with Crystal Reports installed, you should add the PATH to the crpe32.dll file of the Crystal Reports version you are trying to use to your Windows PATH.

- For Crystal Reports XI this is C:\Program Files\Common Files\Business Objects\3.0\bin
- For Crystal Reports 10 this is C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions\2.5\bin
- For Crystal Reports 9 this is C:\Program Files\Common Files\Crystal Decisions\2.0\bin
