PROBLEM:
I am using HTML help in my Visual DataFlex application. I am using DoDisplayTopic to display a particular topic, but sending DoSyncTOC does not synchronize the table of contents (TOC) with the help topic.
SOLUTION:
There appears to be a bug in HTML help where TOP synchronization is concerned. In order for this to work, the HTML help window definition must have the "Auto sync" property set to true.
In Microsoft's HTML help workshop, there is an "Auto sync" checkbox on the "Navigation Pane" tab page of the "Window Types" dialog. Other tools, such as RoboHelp, provide similar ways of setting this property.
