PROBLEM:
I am getting the error "Creating database with parameters you described was rejected!  You may go on with managing named database safely.  Do you want to continue?" when I try to use the Maintain Named Database option.
Clicking either the "yes" or "no" button returns to the Maintained named database screen and nothing seems to happen. What is that?

SOLUTION:
As Pervasive.SQL knowlegde base describes, the problem is related to the DBNames.cfg file. Its location maybe wrong, its location maybe set incorrectly in the configuration options, the CFG file maybe corrupted, or, if running Netware, other configuration problems can be causing that (refer to KBase 1572 if you are running Netware).

To correct this setting, refer to the Pervasive KBase article "Error creating new Named Database" and to our KBase article 1751.
